Liv Pitts(TM) offers a paradigm of traditional home birth midwifery care that moves slow, with intention, and with conscious support for what is showing up in the mind, heart, and soul of the mother-baby dyad.

Outlined below is the Traditional Midwifery Care Package. Care is comprehensive - beginning at conception, extending through 12 weeks postpartum, and honoring the tradition of birth that is alive in us all.

global fee beginning at $5,800 and includes:

prenatal care

Virtual availability for prenatal discussion, questions, or concerns beginning at the start of care.

Prenatal care appointments are as unique as the women they serve. No two quite the same.

Appointments are offered monthly until 32 weeks gestations, bi-monthly between 32-38 weeks gestation, and weekly from 38-42+ weeks gestation.

Appointments are loosely located at my home office in Douglas County, GA.

Appointments are designed to bring in-depth prenatal education and whole woman care. This includes but is not limited to:

  • initial intake and continual clinical observation and evaluation of past and present well-being of mother and baby;

  • development of client autonomy, authority, and informed consent around EVERY aspect of care including routine procedures and tests;

  • hand-tailored prenatal and childbirth education (wisdom + prompts + tools + tangible applications);

  • integrative applied quantum health education (physiologic hormonal blueprint, womb intellect and connections, circadian rhythms, phototherapy, hydrotherapy, resonance, hydration, electrodynamics, mitochondrial health, energy medicinals);

  • intuitive pro-metabolic nutrition, mineralization, and supplementation counseling;

  • exploration of body, soul (mindset), spirit connection,

  • intimate relationship and trust building between all members of care team;

  • space for any and all questions/concerns;

  • accurate identification of risk and appropriate referral of care for situations beyond scope of practice.

Hands on clinical evaluation is offered at every appointment and can include: blood pressure, pulse, fundal growth assessment, baby heart rate assessment, baby position assessment, labs.

labor and birth care

Care is individualized to accommodate the preferences/informed decisions of client that were determined prenatally. Care includes but is not limited to:

  • 24/7 on-call support from 37 weeks to established active labor;

  • continuous in-home midwifery care from established active labor to birth through the immediate postpartum period (3-4 hours after birth);

  • clinical monitoring and assessment as needed/desired;

  • physical, emotional, spiritual support as needed/desired;

  • immediate general physical newborn exam;

  • birth certificate filing;

  • accurate identification of risk and appropriate referral of care for situations beyond scope of practice.

A midwifery assistant hired by Liv is in attendance at all births.

postpartum care

Virtual availability for postpartum discussion, questions, or concerns beginning after birth and extending into 12 weeks postpartum.

Postpartum care appointments prior to 40 days postpartum will be held in the client’s home. Appointments after this will be held at my home office.

Appointments are offered as needed, typically at 1-2 days 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks postpartum.

Appointments are designed to bring in-depth postpartum education and mother-baby dyad support. This includes but is not limited to:

  • clinical and physical assessments of newborn and mother;

  • evaluation and support of maternal emotional wellbeing;

  • breastfeeding education and support;

  • placenta preservation and ceremony;

  • first 40 days preparation and community integration;

  • space for any and all questions/concerns;

  • accurate identification of risk and appropriate referral of care for situations beyond scope of practice.

This offering does NOT include the cost of any lab work or ultrasounds, glucose tolerance and GBS screening, newborn metabolic screening, maternal + newborn vaccinations, water birth set-up, and a short and simple list of household supplies for your birth.
